Post-graduate students make on average $75,000 a year compared to high school graduates, who usually peak out around $31,000. This is according to an article that explains why going back to school is one of the best ways to increase your earning power in the job market. Recessions typically don’t last very long compared to the long-term benefits that a solid education can have on your potential ability to command a higher salary than your bong-smoking counterparts that choose to ’screw the system’ and do nothing about their current situation.

The government will help you fund your education. Apply Now! Hurry!

I’m a proud student and Im a proud OSAP receiver as I am an Ontario resident.  I mean without OSAP I would not be able to go to school and get my degree. For those of you outside of Ontario, you have your version of student loans.  I figured I can give you more of personal experience with OSAP specifically, but these tips can be applied to any provincial funding program.  For those of you that don’t know, OSAP is the Ontario Student Assistance Program, that gives money to eligible students (based on their financial situation) to help fund their education.  You live through the year getting this free money, but then they remind you every year by slapping a big stamp on a nice letter to tell you how much you owe to date.  You do not have to pay it back until after you graduate and is interest free until 6 months after.

This post is  a reminder to all you students out there, if you haven’t already signed up for it, you needed to get on it, pronto!  It’s not too late, but I would definitely take care of it right away. Here are a few tips to help you.
