My Myspace page...in another part of the galaxy

My Myspace page...in another part of the galaxy

In a cab; screaming down the road like a black and orange missile. No bang, or shattering glass, or dust falling from the brickwork.  A blog fades  just like a star whose twinkling existence is ignorant to most, but whose light offers a welcome illumination in the darkness. But there are other stars and new ones are always being born and some just grow so large that they swallow whole solar systems. This is what I think about everytime a good thing comes to an end…but does it ever really end? I like to think not. Particles–that’s what it’s all about. Atoms shift and take on new forms; things inhabit other existences, other realms, but they never truly fade. It’s too late for them once they become memories; etched in our minds. “Hey, you were the guy that did such-and-such”; “Yes”, I’ll say, “and now I’m doing such-and-such”. It never ends. How can it?

Follow me on my other page if you feel so inclined. But you never know, I may just pop into existence in the solar system that is Virgin once again. It was good knowing you.

If you’ve been bitten by the film-bug or just want to get that dream screenplay made into a movie, you already know that making a movie involves a lot of people. It takes a lot of money to make a movie too, but in my opinion, the most valuable resource is the cast and crew that it takes to bring your vision from the page to the screen.

He’s Baaaaaack

June 18th, 2009 by Romi

This was inevitable: Michael Moore is coming out with a new documentary where, you guessed it; he addresses the global financial crisis. The trailer doesn’t give much away but we can expect the usual shenanigans from our chubby friend. Although details of the film haven’t been released, we do know that Mr. Moore will be targeting the Wall Street big wigs whose quest for more has left everyone else with less.

Moore is often criticized for his extreme bias against the far Rights. This may be true, but at least his films bring global issues into the public sphere. While we can expect a lot of accusations and ridicule towards CEOs, CFOs and other important acronyms, we can also look forward to a simplified depiction of the current economic climate (with cartoons!). Get excited, but not too excited because the film premiers on October 2nd.
