Hey guys, so today I thought I would give you some tips on things that I do around the house to either be lazy or to be to cheap.I don’t know about you guys, but I love being lazy and I love being cheap (hopefully no potential girlfriends or bosses read this post) and I thought I would share some of my ingenious activities with you. So take the couple minutes to read this article because it will save you even more money and time then you ever thought of….. or at least some.
When it comes to eating or making pasta I always eat right out of the cooking pot instead of putting it on or plate or in a bowl.I mean I have no one to impress and it definitely saves me on the dishes.A friend of mine likes to take his shirt off while eating because he always seems to get that little stain on his white shirt, which means new shirts or more laundry. Eeek. I do suggest however that you bring a shirt if you go to a buffet, along with a container (which I advise to be an old margarine or butter container). I know you’ve heard it all before but try to sneak some calamari home for tomorrow’s lunch.
As they say, “Strangers are merely friends we haven’t met yet.” I love strangers. I am aware that this video probably makes me look like a total weirdo (or at least a bigger weirdo than is already assumed) but simply put, strangers make me happy. Whether it is the inspirational stranger that gives you some insight to life, the complimentary stranger that tells you they like your hair, or the hilariously “different” stranger that stops you in your tracks and makes you say “now I’ve seen everything” - I love them all. There are days I literally make it my mission to run into a random person that will strike up a some sort of weird, out-of-the-box conversation. While most girls get completely offended by some sketchy guy throwing out a casual “hey lady, how you doooinnnn?” I actually take a huge sigh of relief and say to myself, “phew, I’ve still got it!”.
So my cheap tip of the day: Meeting strangers is free. You never know who you are going to run into. So get out of your house, put your wallet away and just take a walk outside. Life is waiting to happen.
One event that I refuse to miss, regardless of my financial situation, is PRIDE Weekend!
Whether it’s the sweaty shirtless men, the dance parties in the streets, or just the happy and positive vibe it represents, PRIDE is an event like no other! And to top it off, it can be done with little to no money at all!!
Check out this video to see why summer festivals are totally worth going to AND how easily they can be done on the cheap (keeping in mind Virgin Fest hits Vancouver this weekend, Ontario on August 29th/30th, and Alberta on August 8th/9th)!
Oh my lanta…can you believe Canada Day is already here!!?? I feel like it was just last week I was waking up with mysterious maple leaf tattoos plastered all over my forehead!  Ooops … I mean innocently checking out the lovely festivities at Parliament Hill =)
Take a peek at my video for FREE/CHEAP things to do this Canada Day! (which is tomorrow, people. TOMORROW!)

Rath You have a decent blog here. I would encourage you to keep writing and posting as often as you are inspired to do so. In the long run, it will really pay off as more and more people will begin to visit, read and refer others. ProExtender

lasierra great blog! I’m glad I finally found a decent blog that I liked. Just subscribed to the feed and looking forward to future updates.
Theresa Waste less food by taking more trips to the grocery store, but buy less. Plan fresh meals ahead, buy what you need when you need it. Also, frequent local markets for great deals!
