I in no way am an alcoholic and do not support drinking more then you can handle. I do realize however there are times that a few more cases of beer get opened then expected, and a few more credit card limits are stretched. This is no surprise to anyone but alcohol can be mighty expensive sometimes. Well folks, Mr. Sean Fallon (a.k.a. Prof. Dealzmodo) is back with some tips and advice on what you need to make your own beer or wine. And guess what, it’s only a fraction of the cost. Recession or no recession I want to save money…don’t you?
Camping is one of the cheapest vacations that you can go on, so, my friends and I went. It cost a heck of a lot less than going somewhere else for four days thats for sure. Â This video gives an insight to having a great time with your friends without spending a ton of cash. Â Check it out and let me know what you guys do to cut costs on your trips. Please give credit to the other actors, I had to pay them a heafty sum to act like my friends.
So this past weekend I went up to Balsam Lake and went camping with my guy friends. It was a weekend that consisted of chess, classical music, some of my favorite Stephen King books, and a nice cold beer. We were very responsible and didn’t get into any trouble at all.The next thing I knew one beer turned into two, which turned into 5 and then well…I’m sure you know the rest.Right now I feel like there is a circus going on in my head and an ice hockey game going on in my liver. It was a great weekend, but with a great weekend comes a great hangover.Mind you my nights were not as eventful as the movie The Hangover, but I definitely feel like crap now.Don’t judge me! I know it’s the summer and sometimes we let ourselves get carried away but it doesn’t hide the fact that hangovers suck.I found a great post  from Wanderings giving 5 ways to beat a hangover.
Last week I asked readers to share their thoughts on what they do to affordably go out and I’ll be honest rather than jazzing up the results, I got one response. Damn, I suck. In consolation, that one response happened to be pretty funny so I’m sharing it here to give props to Phil from Easy Tiger Corp, the company that makes pre-stained underwear. Phil also wins 50 bucks to use on Ticket Trunk so thanks for sharing Phil and congrats. (more…)
rachel plan weekly meals and buy whatever you can in bulk, hands wash your clothes when ever you can and grow a garden or if you have a family member that has a garden ask if you can get some fresh veggies when there ready to come out
Derekp I think i’ve seen this somewhere before…but it’s not bad at all
Rath You have a decent blog here. I would encourage you to keep writing and posting as often as you are inspired to do so. In the long run, it will really pay off as more and more people will begin to visit, read and refer others. ProExtender

Theresa Waste less food by taking more trips to the grocery store, but buy less. Plan fresh meals ahead, buy what you need when you need it. Also, frequent local markets for great deals!
