Summer Is Not Done In The East, Get Your Heels Out.

August 25th, 2009 by Thaddeus
tor-night1

Well, enough of the chit chat, I know everyone from Ontario and further East is dying to know some cool stuff to do this summer. If you didn’t know, because for some silly reason you didn’t read my post yesterday, I gave you some things to do before summer is out. Because there are so many, I did from BC to Manitoba yesterday, and am doing the rest today. The view from Panorama (pictured above) is just one of the great attractions in the rest of Canada.

Filmmakers Seeing RED

August 20th, 2009 by George

Dodge Superbee Salt Flats color test by Vita Brevis Films from VITA BREVIS on Vimeo.

Cinema will be undergoing a revolution in the next few months and it has culminated in the release of the movie, “District 9“, directed by Neill Blomkamp. The movie was made for a budget of $30 million (small for a film of this magnitude) and has since made back its budget on the opening weekend alone. I believe there will be a new trend in cinema that will allow filmmakers to shoot at lower budgets, while maintaining film quality, all thanks to the RED camera, developed by Jim Jannard and Co.

Student Loan Tips

The Money's There... Now Go For It!

The Money's There... Now Go For It!

MAKE MORE MONEY BY GOING BACK TO SCHOOL

Post-graduate students make on average $75,000 a year compared to high school graduates, who usually peak out around $31,000. This is according to an article that explains why going back to school is one of the best ways to increase your earning power in the job market. Recessions typically don’t last very long compared to the long-term benefits that a solid education can have on your potential ability to command a higher salary than your bong-smoking counterparts that choose to ’screw the system’ and do nothing about their current situation.

Beat The Heat!

August 19th, 2009 by Thaddeus

This video is pretty self explanatory.  Watch it! I made it just for you, my friends, to help you out with beating the heat.  Please drop a comment and help me out with my heat problems. I found this article, 12 Wacky Ways to Beat the Heat by Mark Moring, check it out, it didn’t help me but it’s quite funny! As well, let me know if you found a way to water proof your laptop!

Just kidding, but seriously.

Flin Flon, Volunteering And A (Non-)Primitive Culture

I'm not really yelling. The cartoonist wanted more life.

Bonjour!

Well tomorrow I fly back home to Nova Scotia for a couple weeks, but don’t worry folks, I’ll still be posting! Because despite what you may have heard, Internet DOES exist in Nova Scotia outside Halifax. I’m also sending a big shout-out to my landlord/homeboy Amin who said he would drive me to the airport! My flight’s at 7:20 and I have to be places early, so that means waking up at 4:45. Yuck. (more…)

Two Guys Living Together - Episode 2

August 13th, 2009 by George

The zaniness continues as D.J. tests the limits of my tolerance (and yours) with a complete disregard for the sanctity of a locked bathroom. Could this be the final straw or will D.J. tug at my heart or guitar strings to help make light of the situation?

I Want You!

August 13th, 2009 by Thaddeus
I want to interview you.

I want to interview you.

I want you. Really, I do. This whole week and throughout the summer I, along with the other blog members, have been interviewing different people on different areas. I know you must be getting jealous by now that all these people are getting featured in interviews on here and becoming famous. Well, here is your chance. I want you to email me telling me you want to be interviewed. That’s it! Whether your Mr. or Mrs. Smith (Angelina and Brad feel free as well), Bill Gates, or just a regular person in this world, email me and say “Thaddeus, I want to be interviewed and featured on the site”. I will! Yes all my fans finally have a chance to be questioned by me and featured. So what are you waiting for email me at bolton.thaddeus@yahoo.com now. Who knows where you will end up once you get your voice heard on the site.

Now I know Mandi and Jere probably want to be interviewed since they are behind the scenes so often, and I know George loves to talk to me, but unfortunately it’s only for the fans this time. Hey D.J., tell that super hot girl team you volunteer for to email me as well!

Just kidding, but seriously.

I Heart Strangers

August 12th, 2009 by Andrea

As they say, “Strangers are merely friends we haven’t met yet.” I love strangers. I am aware that this video probably makes me look like a total weirdo (or at least a bigger weirdo than is already assumed) but simply put, strangers make me happy. Whether it is the inspirational stranger that gives you some insight to life, the complimentary stranger that tells you they like your hair, or the hilariously “different” stranger that stops you in your tracks and makes you say “now I’ve seen everything” - I love them all. There are days I literally make it my mission to run into a random person that will strike up a some sort of weird, out-of-the-box conversation. While most girls get completely offended by some sketchy guy throwing out a casual “hey lady, how you doooinnnn?” I actually take a huge sigh of relief and say to myself, “phew, I’ve still got it!”.

So my cheap tip of the day: Meeting strangers is free. You never know who you are going to run into. So get out of your house, put your wallet away and just take a walk outside. Life is waiting to happen.

Webisodes On A Budget

August 11th, 2009 by George

Hey all. D.J. and I have prepared a little treat for you of a behind-the-scenes look at the making of an episode of Two Guys Living Together. This was recorded on a laptop webcam and uploaded straight to YouTube. Hopefully soon we’ll be able to incorporate live streaming with a chat function so you guys can suggest things to put right into the episode live! Your suggestions could very well make it into the final cut of one of our episodes! Leave me a comment below if you think this a good idea.

High Flyers And Loan Riders

Raise your hands if you or someone you know has ever felt like this...okay now put down your hands and scroll down!

Raise your hands if you or someone you know has ever felt like this...okay now put down your hands and scroll down!

Bonjour! I’m going home to Nova Scotia one week from tomorrow and I’ll be back in Ontario Sept. 2nd. I’m so excited to not have to worry about food, laundry, phone, cockroaches, electricity and all other daily life worries for a couple of weeks. Your eyebrows probably dropped a little bit when you read about cockroaches and electricity and that’s because neither of them exist where I live. Instead we have mutant ants and candles. Just kidding. (more…)
