Little Romi definitely did not pay for that cake
Today, I turn 19 for the 4th time. I have to say, it was exciting the first couple times but it’s getting a bit redundant. Better than turning 22 though.
Last week, Andrea reminded me that you can get a slew of free things on your birthday. If I wanted to, I could get every single meal plus dessert paid for, a day/night of entertainment, AND some free products.
For those of you who have birthdays coming up, take note, and if you don’t, save this list! Get a free meal and let your friends buy you drinks instead.
After doing some digging, I have come up with My Top Ten Free Things You Can Get On Your Birthday:
1. Sephora–Choice of free lip gloss set or Bubble bath, and if you order online, you can get 3 free samples of other products!
2. Boston Pizza-Sign up for their E-mail newsletter and you receive an e-coupon for a free gourmet pasta or dessert.
3. The Old Spaghetti Factory–Complimentary spaghetti dinner!
4. What-A-Bagel—A dozen free bagels, just for you!
5. Ontario Place—Free Admission on your birthday with a downloadable voucher.
6. Jack Astor’s—Free Gift for joining their mailing list and a free gift on your birthday!
7. Medieval Times—A free admission to the show/feast with a purchase of one other ticket if you sign up online.
8. Denny’s—Free Meal!
9. Red Robin—Join the e-club and receive a free gourmet burger on the big day!
10. Tucker’s Marketplace—All you can eat buffet and a free slice of cake with a candle
Before taking advantage of these awesome freebies, give the store you plan on going to a call to make sure they’ll honour the deal. Some franchises are inconsistent with their b-day specials. Also, some of these places require that you sign up for their mailing list to get the free item so make sure you do so if you’re planning on getting the deal!
